The Treasure Hunt is among the top three events for Monopoly Go players, along with the Peg-E Prize Drop and Partner Event. In Treasures Events, you “dig” for treasure using Pickaxe Tokens. There are various grids, and when you hit them with enough pickaxes, a treasure is revealed. The more treasures you collect, the more rewards you earn. Although there aren’t set dates, a regular pattern helps us anticipate when the next event is likely to happen.

Treasure Dig events in Monopoly GO typically occur once a month, with a three-week gap. Based on past schedules, the next digging mini-game is expected to launch on Sep 24, 2024, and will likely last for four or five days. However, the exact duration will be confirmed at launch

Monopoly Go ‘Haunted Treasures’ Event Overview

About the Pickaxes in the Treasure Event

The core gameplay of the Treasure Dig event revolves around collecting pickaxes to dig up items. You can collect pickaxes from Quick Wins rewards, top banner events, tournaments, free gifts in the Shop, and digging event level rewards.

After the event ends, any remaining Pickaxe Tokens will be converted into dice rolls, with each Pickaxe Token giving you three dice rolls. So, having extra pickaxes doesn’t mean they'll go to waste after the event; instead, they’ll provide you with more opportunities to roll the dice.
