What Are Stars and Vaults?

In Monopoly Go, stars are a valuable in-game currency obtained from duplicate stickers. These stars can be exchanged for special reward boxes called vaults, which contain free dice rolls and sticker packs.

Types of Vaults

There are three types of vaults available in Monopoly Go:

1. Orange Vault: Costs 250 stars and contains 170-230 free dice rolls and one three-star pink sticker pack.
2. Blue Vault: Costs 500 stars and contains 300-420 free dice rolls and one four-star blue sticker pack.
3. Pink/Gold Vault: Costs 800 stars and contains 425-575 free dice rolls, one four-star blue sticker pack, and two five-star purple sticker packs.

How to Earn Stars

Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers. Each duplicate sticker's star value is converted into stars, with gold stickers being worth double their star value. For example, a five-star gold card is worth 10 stars when exchanged for a vault.

Vault Exchange Strategy

When exchanging stars for vaults, it's recommended to:

1. Wait for the 800-star Pink/Gold Vault, as it offers the best value.
2. Save high-value stickers (four or five stars) for trading and use lower-value duplicates for vault exchanges.
3. Exchange for vaults every 24 hours, as there's a time limit between exchanges.

Stars at Season's End

At the end of a season:

1. Remaining stickers are deleted, but their star value is retained.
2. Unused stars are automatically converted into dice rolls, with a maximum conversion of 700+ rolls.
3. In some cases, players may receive vault rewards at the start of the new season based on their accumulated stars.

1. Focus on collecting as many stickers as possible to increase your chances of duplicates.
2. Prioritize gold stickers, as they're worth double the stars when duplicated.
