Monopoly GO is introducing a brand-new racing mini-event, the Snow Racers event, set to take place from January 8th to January 13th, 2025. This fun-filled cooperative event invites players to team up and race for coveted rewards. Let's take a closer look at what this exciting event has to offer!

Snow Racers Event Overview

In Snow Racers, you and your teammates will race against other teams in a thrilling “finish to the line” mini-game. The goal is to secure a spot at the top of the leaderboard by competing in a series of races. Here’s everything you need to know about this event.

How the Snow Racers Event Works

Team Formation: You and your friends can form a team of four players. If your team isn't complete by the end of the team-up period, the system will automatically assign the remaining players.

Team Collaboration: Invite your friends to join your racing team, but make sure they log in during the event. Once invited, your teammates must accept the invitation to join your team.

Racing: Your team will compete against another team of similar skill levels in a three-race championship. Each race will earn medals based on the position you finish in, and the team with the most medals at the end wins the championship.

Collecting Flags: During the event, you’ll need to collect flags to participate in the races. You can obtain flags by winning races, receiving them as gifts, or finding them on the game board.

Snow Racers Event Rewards

At the end of the races, the team with the highest medal count will win the championship and receive exciting rewards. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect based on previous event rewards:

   1st Place: Wild Sticker + 2700 Free Dice Rolls + Snow Mobile Token 
   2nd Place: 5-Star Purple Sticker Pack + 1000 Free Dice Rolls 
   3rd Place: 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack + 500 Free Dice Rolls 
   4th Place: 175 Free Dice Rolls

New Lucky Rocket Booster

A new feature termed 'Lucky Rocket Booster' has been added to this version of the racer event, there is a complete run down of what this does over on the official help site of Monopoly Go, however I'll do my best to summarise here.

The Lucky Rocket Booster will will limit the dice that you throw to landing between 4 and 6, thus improving your chances of rolling a double or tripe which greatly increases your score for that throw.

You can get the Lucky Rocket Booster from the lap rewards and certain event prizes, so do look out for this important new item. When you activate a Lucky Rocket Boost it lasts for one roll only, but it does affect your whole team. So each of your team members and you will get the benefit of this boost for the next turn.

The best option when you have a Lucky Rocket Booster activated is to use the highest multiplier that you are comfortable with in order to benefit the most from this chance based boost. Do be aware though, that this booster does not stack, so if you have one already, don't claim another until you've used the one you are already holding. You can only hold one of these boosts at a time.

Look for the rocket icon next to their avatars. This will show who’s holding an active Lucky Rocket. Also try to coordinate with your team mates as to when to use this boost say you make the best use of it.

This boost is valid for both the solo and team version of this event.

   Invite Active Friends: Make sure to invite friends who will log in daily and contribute consistently. This will ensure your team performs at its best. 
   Balance Your Team: Mix up skill levels within your team for maximum flexibility and performance. 
   Strategize: Plan your race strategies with your team. Work together to optimize performance and win as many races as possible. 
   Monitor Laps: Use the loot box system to keep track of your progress and see how many laps you need to complete to earn rewards. 
   Save Flags for the Final Race: Some teams prefer to save their flags for the final race, where double points can drastically change the leaderboard. Keep an eye on race timings for that crucial last-minute push!
